World Cocktail Week

World Cocktail Week at The Crunkleton

The Crunkleton is proud to host a series of events in conjunction with the Museum of the American Cocktails’ World Cocktail Week.  World Cocktail Week was established in order to help broaden understanding and appreciation for the cocktail and its historical and culinary significance throughout the world.

Throughout the week, The Crunkleton will welcome guest bartenders from around the triangle to speak about a different era of the American cocktail.  We will start each evening with a seminar at 8pm and a complimentary cocktail tasting from that era.

We hope you will be able to make it to some of the events during World Cocktail Week and help The Crunkleton support the Museum of the American Cocktail.

1830-1885- The Baroque Age

The Baroque age of cocktails is marked by one serious enhancement- ice.  Once only accessible to the wealthy, the incorporation of ice into cocktails started the ball rolling on individually made cocktails and spurred on creativity and invention in cocktails.
