The Crunkleton Team

Jerry McNeill
As a North Carolina native, Jerry got his start at The Fearrington House Restaurant in his hometown of Pittsboro. Later continuing his career in hospitality management at Mimosa Grill in Charlotte, the Michelin starred Sepia of Chicago, and world-famous Brennan’s in the French Quarter of New Orleans. When he is not behind the bar with The Crunkleton team, Jerry pursues his interests in music, travel, and dining.

Rachel Spahr
Rachel comes from a small city outside of West Philadelphia where she was born and raised. While there, she helped open two new breweries before moving to Chapel Hill in early 2019. Rachel loves live-music, cooking, and visiting the many taco trucks in town. Her growing passion for classic craft cocktails is matched by her love for quality service and learning about new spirits.

Justin Nicely
Justin Nicely, a native Virginian with two decades of hospitality experience beginning at fifteen in an Italian pizzeria, washing dishes. He later started bartending in college at twenty-one while studying business management at Radford University. After graduating he moved to the Outer Banks and hasn’t left North Carolina or bartending since. Justin spends a lot of outside time gardening and strongly believes seasonal cocktails with local ingredients are always the best wherever you are. His true passion is America’s native spirit, Bourbon. In cocktails or neat, that sweet amber liquid will always be offered to you while he’s working.
