Born in Durham, Robby graduated from North Carolina State in business administration before helping to open a Wine bar in Mebane, NC. After several years, he joined La Place Louisiana Cookery in Hillsborough and was able to blossom with his focus for creative cocktails, and genuine service. A longtime friend of The Crunkleton’s bar team, Robby was excited to come aboard and add some of his Tiki cocktail flare and a love for music.
Jonah Gibbs is a Durham native who started in the restaurant industry shortly after his time in the fire academy. While volunteering for his local fire department and looking for firefighting jobs, Jonah was surprised to find a new passion for food, service, and drinks. Inspired by the memory of his Grandfather, Jonah quickly started working towards becoming a bartender. Early in his bar career, his thirst for knowledge and a more bespoke style of bartending led him to The Crunkleton. For several years Jonah frequented the bar and pestered his future coworkers with endless questions, before earning a spot on the team in early 2017.
